The Global Shield against Climate Risks consists of the following governing bodies: the Global Shield Board, the Coordination Hub, the Technical Advisory Group, the Global Shield Ambassadors, and the Secretariat. The Board assumes political and strategic oversight and provides overall guidance. The Coordination Hub supports with technical advice and implementation coordination to help deliver on the ambition of the Global Shield. The Technical Advisory Group provides independent advisory support to the In-Country Process, the Coordination Hub and the Board. The Global Shield Ambassadors have a representative role to promote the ambition and work of the Global Shield. The Global Shield Secretariat fosters collaboration and ensures communication among all actors.
